The European Society for Paediatric Oncology (SIOP) statement:

​

"90% of newly diagnosed paediatric cancer patients are treated within EU prospective clinical trials or according to European recommendations established through clinical research. Phase 3 protocols are used for the majority of the paediatric cancer population. The paediatric cancer community is well informed of the ongoing trials and guidelines through the respective European Clinical Trial Groups and SIOP Europe".
